Anyone arriving BEFORE 2pm must go to Alumni Square, located across the street from the main gates, inside the brick apartment complex. Anyone arriving AFTER 9pm must go to Village C, the only Residence Hall that is open 24 hours a day. Georgetown University has been kind enough to offer us 50 rooms (20 singles, 30 doubles) in Copley Residence Hall, on campus.  The rooms are $50 per night, and are available on a first come first serve basis. Ten double rooms will be set aside to accomodate graduate students.  The other double rooms should be double occupancy.  Please do not request a double room if you are traveling alone- you will be hurting graduate students and scholars with limited funds  who
might be attending the conference and need reduced-rate rooms.

Email mkevane@scu.edu or phone (408) 554-6888 or fax (408) 554-2331 to make a request, after April 15.  Rooms are available only from Thursday, July 31, 2003 through Saturday, August 2, 2003.

Marriot Hotel

This hotel is the next closest major hotel. It is about 30 minutes walk (Georgetown can be very hot and humid in August) and a 5 minute taxi ride.  If more than ten persons with to book rooms here at $99 per room, I can make a group reservation. But SSA has to guarantee the reservations out of our own money, so I am not reserving the block until I find out more interest.  Email me at mkevane@scu.edu, or fax at 408-554-2331.
