Summer 1981, worked as an economic consultant in Thailand on estimating development benefits arising from the improvement of provincial roads and in the distribution of benefits resulting from the construction of rural roads. The study was sponsored by the Thailand Ministry of Communication, financed by the Asian Development Bank and conducted by Louis Berger International and Asian Engineering Ltd. 

Summer 1980, June-September, worked as a consultant in Thailand on three projects (1) Study of Thai Rural Roads, financed by a World Bank loan; (2) Feasibility Study of Provincial Road Improvements financed by the Asian Development Bank; and (3) Study on the Nam Moon River Integrated Irrigation Project, financed by U.S.A.I.D. 

Summer 1979, August-September, worked as an economic consultant on a study of the National and Provincial Road Network in Thailand. The study was financed by the World Bank and Conducted by Louis Berger International and Asian Engineering Ltd. 

Summer 1979, June-July, worked as an economic consultant to the Honduras Cadaster Office-Resource Division (continuation of previous project).
