Symposium SeriesThe Food & Agribusiness Institute at Santa Clara University sponsors a quarterly symposium on issues important to the food industry. The objective of the symposium is to provide our students, alumni, advisory board, faculty, and industry guests with up-to-date information about important issues, and to discuss ways in which food and agribusiness firms can adapt their strategies to reflect the changing business environment. Past symposia have included a discussion of e*commerce and the food industry (Spring 2000), bioengineered foods (Winter 2000), the U.S. produce industry (Fall 2000), technology and food security (Spring 1999), and the Asian financial crisis (Winter 1999). The Institutes symposia are free of charge and open to the public. For information about future symposia contact the Food & Agribusiness Institute at (408)554-4086 or email: fai@scu.edu.
